Hey guys,
I am in the process of installing true duals, on my 2012 deluxe and have a few questions:

1. I have the deluxe passenger floorboards, and was wondering if I had to use a longer bolt, on the left side of the bike,where the floorboard anchors to? It looks like there would only be 3 threads holding that together, which seems sketchy at best.

2. What bracket do I need to buy, to mount the right side floorboard? The old one anchored into the stock exhaust bracket, which was removed.

3. The exhaust gaskets seem to be in pretty good shape, Do they need to be replaced, and if so, what is the easiest way to remove the old ones??

Any help with this, will be greatly appreciated!!!!

 

1. I would definitely use a longer bolt.

2. Harley makes a bracket, looks exactly like the left side bracket, that you'll need to purchase.

3. I would recommend changing the gaskets anytime you remove the headers. They're cheap anyway
