Default Fitment question - fat boy

Hi.. I currently have 2015 Sportster 883 super low. I bought HD locking rigid leather bags for it an I love them. I am looking to upgrade to a fat boy or fat boy lo and hate to part with my bags. Does anybody know if bags that fit sportster can be modified to fit fit a fat boy or fat boy lo with appropriate hardware/ brackets?

depends on the length so the won't hit the signals. and what pipes you have so they wont lay on them. and if you're doing brackets you will obviously need new ones. bring to a dealer and match them up against a bike

With enough ingenuity and enough $$$ anything can be made to fit anything else. My only concern is that your bags that fit and look just fine on a piglet that has a swingarm frame will look a little out of place on the upscale size of a big-twin Fatboy that happens to be about twice the size.

I went from a 1200T Superlow to a Fat Boy (2015) last year and I really am enjoying the Fat Boy.

I know what you mean about the bags. I found that for day riding I do fine with this setup:

For trips, there are larger bags and you can even fit both on the Fat Boy, one on the passenger pinon and one on the rack. I find that I do not miss or want side bags but of course lots of people like them.
