I ordered some prewired bars w. New controls for my 14 slim, had to also pickup can bus adapter. I still need the cables. Anyone know the length? Do I just need to measure once bars are on there? Thanks

How you route the cables, bar height, riser height and bar width all determine cable length. Best to mount bars and use an old peice of extension cord to get your lengths. Then you know it will work.
That being said...I ended up with +8" idle & throttle and +10" clutch with a 1.125" riser, 16" bar height and 37.5" width on my 2013 Slim.
Thanks for the help. I figured all the configurations would change lengths. I just wasnt sure how to measure. Good call on using an old extension cord.
So next question and it might be dumb. We're youre cables the exact length you ordered? From tip to tip?

Clutch cables are usually measured in total length, you also have to keep the position of the adjuster in mind. Idle/throttle are measured by housing lengths, you also have an option of tube bend where it attaches to control housing 90° or 45°....most people use 90°. Brake lines are total length. Magnum shielding used to have a good explanation on their website.
