Productive, and somewhat frustrating, day today.
Installed Reaper's new Corbin Gunslinger & Lady seat (bottom one in the comparison pic), new LED "Daymaker" style headlight (Eagle Lights 5 3/4". This thing is BRIGHT!!), and wanted to install her new Speedo/Tach combo, but it appears to be busted right out of the box (when trying to copy the odometer, all it did was display "NO CAL"), so I'll need a replacement. I also have 1" riser extensions to install, but that's for another day.

if i remember correctly you will need to get the new speedo programmed with the mileage on your bike , it's a security thing to keep someone from resetting the odometer. when I put on like it on my roadking the part guys got my mileage and programmed it before I left the dealer.

I should have updated this a while back, in case someone else runs into the same issue I did, but forgot. So, the Speedo/Tach combo was just fine. Reaper has an aftermarket ignition module (Daytona Twin Tec), and for whatever reason, with that one installed, the mileage transfer wouldn't work. Once I reinstalled the stock ignition, the transfer went as expected. Once that was done, I reinstalled the DTT ignition, and everything has been functioning properly since.
Cheers!
