Default How to get that bubbling sound?

I've got v&h 2-1 exhaust which certainly has it on idle, but it's still hell loud. Don't wanna be another idiot who prevents my 2yo daughter from sleeping. Is it possible to achive it without making everyones ears bleed?

Patriot Defender 2 into 1... I have this pipe on my bike. It's adjustable. AND my 3 year old daughter is still sleeping when I leave for work.

That's nice....I was going for the old school look to keep it retro looking but that's gonna be my exhaust right there....says on eBay they won't work with floorboards but I see they did....

Right on man! I think the black pipe will look great on your bike. You do gotta take the floorboard off to get the pipe on, the pipes are BIG and very close to the floorboard (probably has a 3/16" gap between the heat shield and board itself). It took me about 30 minutes to pull the previous exhaust off and install this one... that was me doing it by myself and was trying to wrestle it in with the floorboard on for 5 minutes before just pulling it off. I did add the turn out to the pipe though for a different look and just simply resprayed the pipe with VHT header paint, I did not spray the heat shields. I will pull them back off at some point this year and clean up the weld on the turn out and have them black ceramic coated like they came. It sounds awesome. Very deep sound and doesn't pop or gurgle and carry on on decel. Adjusted fully closed you can hear air being sucked into the air cleaner more than the exhaust note, it's very quiet, fully open, it's deep and rumblely and gets pretty loud the more you twist the throttle. But definitely sounds better than that obnoxious popping *** drag/straight pipe style that alot of folks run including me when I was young and obnoxious (I had Vance and Hines Straight Shots on it and they were way too damn loud). This pipe sounds better at all levels compared to the Vance and Hines in my opinion. I'm sure there are better pipes out there, but for the money this has got to be one of the hardest pipes to beat in price, looks and quality. And as I'm sure you've seen they have two versions, long and short. I got the short because I knew I was going to add the turn out. You'll have to post pictures once you get it installed

Do you have a model number for the pipes and for the turn out? I'm seeing on eBay a couple different manufacturers with the same exact design (prolly the same pipe)...

Thanks for any info....

This is the pipe I got and I even got mine from this seller.

The turn out was some 4" ID turn outs I had for my race car. They are made by Hooker Headers. You can get them from Jeg's or Summit and even ebay occasionally.

Here is a Schoenfeld turn out I found on ebay.
