Default Softail slim or slim s front signal relocate

Looking to relocate the front turn signals from the controls to the forks/trees.
The bike is at the mechanic now, and they are having trouble finding a relocate kit or parts to do this. I know it can be done because i have seen a few pictures of slims with the lights on the trees.
Seems to me like you could put some sort of stud in the place of the bottom schroud screw and threat them onto that.

If anyone has done this and can help with what parts they used, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I used to use just a couple of H-D manifold studs.
They were perfect, they're 5/16" studs about 2" long, one half was a fine thread and the other half a coarse thread (can't recall the actual spec).
The coarse end went into the lower tree, replacing the trim bolt, and the fine end was a perfect match for screwing directly into the turn signal housing.

This didn't work for my 2013 Slim. The light housing and trim bolt hole were both 5/16" 24 pitch (fine thread). I cut pieces of 5/16" 24 pitch rod to fit.

Good to know.
Last time I used the manifold studs was on a '12 Dyna Switchback...
