Looking at using a Kuryakyn pet palace on a 7" wide solo rack. Anyone with experience with this. Advice? work, no work??

 

Those Motherwell racks have a very limited load capacity, something like 10 lbs. or LESS.
The one I bought for my Slim only has two small attachment points, one front, one back and both centered on the fender.
I'd be worried about lateral movement and possible damage to the paint & fender is you overload it.
I took mine off after finding I wasn't using it all that much.

That Kuryakyn Pet Palace looks fairly stout, so by the time you add a small dog/cat? (you didn't say) you'll easily exceed 10 lbs.

 

The one I will be using has the 2 mounts up front. Not as concerned about the weight as I am the size of the carrier relative to the size of the rack.

 

i have the motherwell solo rack that i use for trips using my kriega dry packs a us 30 and a us 20...prolly exceed 15-20 lbs never a problem...
