Default Harley Heritage speedo lens fogging

My 2010 Heritage has been getting fogging ( moisture ) in the speedometer lens over the odometer when I take it out in the sun. It seems like the moisture is in the speedometer and the sun is trying to draw it out but it just fogs the lens and never dries. It started to do this right after the warranty expired and I got caught in a downpour. My brother in law has the same problem with his 2007 Deluxe . Anyone run into this ? Can it be dried out and sealed ?

I had the same problem on my 2005 Road King. As far as I know there is no fix other than taking it completely apart and drying it out. You'll always run the chance of getting water in there again washing or getting caught in the rain regardless. I just left it...

Put a packet of silica in the 1/2 hole of the speedo. Should help a bunch. Many have done this.
