OK guys,if you were to paint your ride and you wanted to keep with the nostalgic theme,what colour scheme would you paint your bike ???

It seems the red/white colour of the 50's style fl's looks pretty cool as does the blue/white.Pics would be good if you have seen something appealing.Also saw a nice looking turquoise/cream bike that looked fantastic.

Takes some ***** to paint overnew paint. I love to see people break away from stock. Love the scheme on this one although it's on a springer.

 

I love the idea of the burgandy/creme (pearl)that was a limited color from Jan-Mar of this year. But, I thought the burgandy looked a little faded out (pinkish). To give it the look of old, with a touch of new... how about black cherry (pearl) and creme (pearl). The gold flake in both would really bring them together (IMO). Use the same paint lines at the two-tone on the Deluxe, with both colors on the tank AND fenders.

 

Burgundy & Cream/Gold Pearl is awesome.

 

The burgundy/black Springer lookssweet and the burgundy/cream is not an option i would have thought of.Sounds good though.

It was a custom color on the 07 Softail Custom, really nice, old school looking.

 

I'm kinda partial to darker colors, how about black and burgandy or dark green (British Racing Green?) with gold pin stripes?

 

I like the darker colours too.The burgundy/black combo is nice.Not a green type of a person but like black.Black/cream would be nice i think.

What about just all black with no pinstripes,nothing, just with an 61-62 fl badge ??? Just thinking out loud >>>>>>

 

Turquoise/cream...like the old Belair...saw one at MB last week at HB Spokes...really was a head turner.

 

Saw this one at the local stealer and am thinking about doing something similar;
