Default Is the Road King considered a soft tail or touring?

Thoughts? I'm thinking tourer, but it does both very well?....

It is a touring. Softail or touring has nothing to do with what it does well. It is what the actual frame is.

Road king has the same frame and is in the same category as street glides, road glides, limiteds, ultras, etc.... Softails have clean lines with hidden shocks... such as the heritage

It is offered for those touring riders who do not want a fork mounted batwing or a frame mounted shark nose fairing, otherwise it uses the same frame, tires, brakes, cruise control, tank, forks, etc. It is not old school or a heritage, it is a touring bike for those who do not want a fairing, use helmet speakers for music, and otherwise like the clean look of the Road King. A very different bike than the Heritage.
