I think it's fugly too, wonder what the gas milage is...
About 33 mpg...

Of course I imagine it's hard to stay off the throttle !!!

I think it's fugly too,but it's a large hulking unique sort of fugly...

A reviewsaid this:

The long-anticipated Rocket III Triumph, with outrageous capacity and styling to match, is finally ready for action. Yes, it's hulking. Some think it's an eyesore. But no one—we repeat, no one—can call the Rocket short on character. Almost absurdly its own thing, this is a motorcycle with its own drummer. Heck, it's a motorcycle with its own band!

I wouldn't want one, with somewhat limited production etc,I'd be concerned about parts and repairs during trips and all that, but that didn't stop the guy I was talking to from sayingWTF and buying one anyway,I'm glad there's people out there like that...

The Triumph store in Daytona had a few for sale when I was there last month.
I saw this one in New Mexico last week. We wondered what it would be like to corner on that square edged tire.

How about a Boss Hoss with a 502? Just insane stuff!
I don't consider them in the same sentance with more traditional bike. More like acustom for lunatics withserious self image problems, or a major adrenaline deficiency. Not to mention maybe an unconsious death wish.
At leasta Y2K Turbine bike (a true crotch rocket?) look's like asport bike when its parked, even if itsounds like a refugee from anairshow or an aircraft carrier when running.

Those bikes wont beat my Softail. I have more HP and torque, and an electric shifter. :D

I think I would take a Boss Hoss over that Triumph. Something about the Boss Hoss just looks better to me.

I don't even consider the Boss Hoss a real motorcycle. It's more of an oddity. The Triumph is at least a purpose built motorcycle and can actually handle like one. I dont' think you'll do much knee dragging on a Boss Hoss. :D
