Default raked triple trees

Hey everybody, I'm new to the site and new to HD's in general. I just got a new FXST, I'm not new to motorcycles though. I love the bike but I feel like I need a little more rake. Has anyone used those raked trees? If so how does your bike handle w/ them. I'm looking at a 3 degree rake w/ 6" overs. Please post your opinions on this.
Thanks

I am sure Fxst HD have a 3 degree rake as standard. Rakeing through the trees anymore than that will make your bike a bugger to ride so I have found out from a few of the guys from the forums and a few I know in person......

Generally, raked trees are used to correct the trail on a bike that has had the frame raked, or raked cups installed. Using raked trees on a stock rake frame can very possibly lead to a decrease in trail to the point of causing high speed wobbles. Don't do it.
