Need Some Experienced Opinions: Has This Softail Slim Been Raked?
Greetings All!
I've got a 2016 Slim that I plan on lowering a little bit this coming summer (maybe an inch or so, both front and back), and I'd love to get the look of this vivid black Slim in the front of this photo, but the more I've looked at the photo, it appears to have more than the factory (OEM) rake to the front-end.
I don't know if its just an optical illusion of the photo itself, or the angles of the lens, or what, but when I visually compare it's front-end to the front-end on my Slim, or even to the other Slim-S model in the rear of the photo, it just looks like it might have been raked a bit more than stock (maybe from different trees or whatever?).
Anyone have any firm opinions on this? I don't know where I got the photo from or who might own it, and I don't even know if its possible to achieve a bit of rake like this using a stock set of forks, but I'm anxious to get some opinions on it.
Thanks!

Yeah, I would agree. Its definitely been lowered in the rear, but if you look closely, the frame appears to be near level with the pavement across the full length of the bike, so presumably, the front would also have been dropped. I guess that's what's got me puzzled.

You are talking about the bike in the background, correct? The bike in the foreground has been lowered in the rear and the bottom frame rails and the less than stock fender gap suggest it. The frame rails are not nearly parallel with the ground, especially when comparing with the bike in the background. I agree no rake, lowered in the rear...
