Default 1st Night Train Fluid change and I have a question

Time for my 1st ever Night Train Fluid change and I have a question. I was going to put 90 wt gear oil in the gearbox, but I’m a little confused about the Engine Oil. This engine uses the same oil in the engine and clutch correct? Then why and I seeing different drain plugs and video’s on how to fill up the clutch separately? Can’t you just put the correct amount of oil in the oil tank and let it decide on how much to allocate for the clutch, or are they separate? Thanks for the help!

Clutch, trans, and engine are all separate. Harley does have syn3 which is 20w50 and you can put that in all 3 holes.
