What does everyone think of aluminum handlebars on a harley? I want to order these. https://revivalcycles.com/products/l...m-handlebars-1
They do have a steel version, but those do not come predrilled for internal wiring.
Unless I'm blind, I didn't see any mention on the site of wall thickness on those bars. I may be wrong, but if you want aluminum bars that will hold up as well as steel, you're probably gonna want a real beefy wall thickness. From the illustration they look like they're not much heavier than .095.
I mean, .095 is fine for steel, but aluminum?
I dunno. I mean bars are gonna bend if you lay it down hard enough, no matter what, but these seem a little to light to me.
I'm sure these bars are a good product but... I'd put 'em on a dirt bike but maybe not a Softail.
