Default Dead 1985 softail
Just bought 1985 softail fitted new battery, when ignition is turned on no dash lights just clicking from under the seat bike is completely dead. Main breaker maybe??????

you can try the evo section too....I'd check the ground cable then pull the dash cover around the ignition switch an check the wiring under there for broken/loose wires.

Just clicking....

Does it click all the time when the ignition switch is on, or just when you push a button or switch???

The second relay trick doesn`t apply to some bikes, such as Softails, because the starter relay gets it`s power directly from the main circuit breaker.

Waiting to see if the OP is still around........

Not really enough info to go on. Is the "clicking" continuous, or just once when the starter button is pressed? If the former, most likely you have a dead short somewhere and the main breaker is cycling on/off. If the latter, see the sticky in the Evo section under "dreaded click".
