Transmission fluid started leaking from plug after changeing ... any ideas ?

 

Either someone reused a trashed, plug o-ring, or they pinched the o-ring on the plug when they were putting it back on..

Happened to me once when I let a dealer do a service because I was lazy and need it done before a ride.....

I had to pull plug, drain tranny, put on new o-ring, reinstall plug, and refill tranny... didn't really save me much time letting the dealer do it.... haven't been back there since...

 

A bit of teflon tape on the plug threads doesnt hurt.
