I know its tough GMAN, because I am the one who bought your bike. Thanks, you kept it very nice. I will be riding to "South Mountain State Park on Saturday"
Thanks guys. I'll be hanging around on here for awhile and will give advise/help to anyone I can. This forum has been a great place when you own a great machine like these.
Sold my Heritage yesterday. Sad to see it go for sure. I'll be 70 in a few months and just feel that I don't really need to be riding anymore. Had a great 50 plus years of riding and enjoyed every mile (about 300,000 of them). Just have some different responsibilities now. Enjoyed the forum a lot. Good info (and a lot of bs). I'll be lurking on here and maybe even offer some good advice now and then.
Who are you kidding, dude? You're just angling for your wife to buy you a new Softail Slim at 71.
Best of luck Gman. I will be facing the same decision in the not too distant future. I give you a lot of credit for knowing when its time. We are all different so that time will be different for all of us.
@ Gman, heheh, we all get to that time eventually. One thing for sure, it's been an interesting life being a scooter tramp. Been thinking about it myself but I just cant seem to put the scoot up for sale yet. Someone show up with 14K cash I probably would though...*laffs
