Got my 2016 HD touring hard bags mounted last night on my fatboy. Very happy with the way it turned out. Just need to make or find filler panels to cover up the hardware. Also am going to add saddle bag guards as soon as I find who makes a set that will fit. Was told by Cycle Vision I would have to replace the stock seat, but it just fits without hitting. Just need to change some spacing to get the sissy bar back on the bike. No more back pack!

Yeah I agree with you, but can't help or stop myself with the Franken harley that is taking place. It's like a freakin'drug that goes against everything I thought when I purchased it. I will say, it still rides like a softail and I don't see the bags while going 0-60 unless in a turn.

I'm a little surprised that you didn't go with the locking leather Harley bags?

It is Captain Itch. The crotch cooler works really good as all heat coming from under the seat is pretty much gone. As for the HD leather bags, I had a set lined up on ebay and after it fell through came across the hard bags on Craigslist and couldn't pass up the deal. My brother has a street glide and was my pack mule whenever we rode together. Looking to have a custom fender bib done at some point from a place called Sundog Leather.
