Getting a tuner will help and could be stuff was taken off the bike that it was tuned for. Good Luck with the 🏡

you don't "NEED" to remap for just slipons. It can't hurt though.

You only NEED to remap when you change intake and/or headers. It's the intake and catted headers where the air flow gets choked up.

You should have kept reading. Retuning accomplishes nothing with slip ons.

yeah that's what I said....you don't need to re map with slipons...only with headers and intake.

Retuning can yield mild performance improvements even on a totally stock bike.

Well to post an update I ended up buying a Cobra Lo-Boy Staggered full exhaust, a lot like their Dragster model but 2 1/4'". It was a sweet online deal so I ended up calling Cobra up to find out more about them and the guy said they haven't been made in about a decade but some places still have a stockpile of them. Gonna be 45 degrees here in Central NY on Saturday so Im gonna try and get them on and maybe ride if it isn't raining. Hoping I dont get any popping but if I do I'm eyeing the Cobra PowerPro Black Tuner...
