This could be the way to go i just want a bit louder than stock with authentic harley sound but not enough to get fix it tickets every time a cop sees me - are they slip ons or full system?

What do you guys think of this exhaust?

I just took off a set of VH Twin Slash. They were loud and high pitched. They are marketed as 3 inch but theyre 2.25. They are shorter by about 3 inches. If you want a lower bassy sound you want the biggest muffler body available.

The Cycle Shacks have a great baffle that will tune up nice. Another option is Rush with 1.75 inch baffle. Either will sound nice and not be obnoxious with stock headpipes.

Not sure how much quieter the "Super Q" baffles are compared to my "quite" baffles.
Of course it's hard to tell actual sound from a youtube video.

Do i still need to remove the heat shield just to install a quiet baffles on a Vance and Hines Short Shots Exhaust?
