Are White walls painted on or molded in white?
2009 Heritage white wall Harley tires and I am cleaning the white wall. I heard recently, that HD white walls are actually molded in white rubber.

They're molded in white and always have been. The sidewalls, that is. The tread is molded in black.

I know in da day, (a long time ago) there was a white strip inside the tire and what ever sized white wall is wanted was pealed back exposing it. 1/2 inch, 1 1/2 inch, 4 inch... Don't know if it's the same today or that way on motorcycle tires?

Molded, I use a Mr Clean Magic eraser on the white walls, works great.

They ought to offer a 60's style red pinstripe tire. Might look cool..
