Questioning the locking mechanism on the new stand. Does it work the same as the old one?

.
It goes perfectly with the metric looking motorcycle it's attached to. (Again, I've got nothing against metrics...I like most manufacturers...I'm not blind brand loyal)

See image below for the bike I would be buying if I were in the market today.

LOL, Never. not my cup of tea. I will keep my fat boy for as long as i can. But someday i will get a second bike. and that will be a street glide or something comparable to it. Maybe from a different brand. Bikes are like sneakers, just a different name on each and you have what's comfortable to you

It's going to happen. It's not a matter of if, but when

We have spent quite a bit of time with the M8's on the 2017 Touring Models-

1. They have less felt heat

2. They still have a heat issue, just like the Twin Cams...at 250* (which they get to quite quickly) performance begins dropping, and at 270* (which they get to quite quickly) accelerated engine wear begins occurring.

On the 2018's, we simply have not spent enough time to know about the heat. One would think it would be a bit less with the large oil cooler.
