New 2018 Fat Boy in my stable... now I need accessories.
Got my new Fat Boy in today, went for a short ride in between the light rain and working.
I need saddlebags, windshield, and a back rest.
None of the vendors out there have 2018 stuff, dealers don't even have the OEM accessories. I'm trying to figure out what is compatible with last years FB, just not finding much.
I did find that to put on about any bags, I have to relocate the turn signals. Of course none show online anywhere except maybe if you call them.
So, it's a naked Fat Boy for now... still awesome, but hard on my back when I hit that throttle... which I can't keep from doing.
If anyone else gets more info on parts for this, I would appreciate adding it to this thread.
Thanks,
Tom

Congratulations!! What color??
I want to do the same... I will keep my list to the minimum... don't want to go crazy with mods like in my previous bikes...
I used the configuration app in the HD website and then added the stuff that was not there (Part Number):
Relocation Kit - License Plate/Turn Signal, Chrome (67800802) $99.95
Passenger Backrest Pad — Fat Boy Style (52300556) $74.95
Docking Hardware Kit - HoldFast, Chrome (52300376) $49.95
Sissy Bar - HoldFast, Short Height, Chrome (52300436) $199.95
Windshield - Wind Splitter Detachable Compact, 15" Light Smoke, Polished Brackets & Clamps (57400367) $419.95
Saddlebag - H-D Detachables Locking Saddlebags (90201513) $849.95 - these are the smooth looking, not like the ones on the photos I attached.
And added:
Get-A-Grip Hand Grips (56100015) - $84.95
Aluminator Billet Front Axle Nut Covers (44114-07) -$42.95
Rear Axle Nut Covers - Satin Chrome (43000111) - $29.95
Cruise Control Kit (41000369) - $249.95
Custom Dynamics Dynamic Ringz
Custom Dynamics Rear LEDs Turn Signals
And for long trips
Sport Luggage Rack for HoldFast Sissy Bar Uprights - Chrome (50300126) - $179.95
Adjustable Rider Backrest (52300409) - $139.95
I will get a better looking set of passenger footpegs, and a better gear shift link. And that is it... moving a few compatible parts from my Slim S...

I dig the denim blue anniversary color. I don't dig the new fatboy style and under no circumstances would I ever put bags on a fatboy, new or old. They just never have looked right to me on that bike. The Heritage look right w/bags as does a Deluxe with Springer styled bags. Fatboy... not so much.

I ordered my OEM windshield yesterday... was told it might ship on the 8th of Sept.
Got about 85 miles on it now. Not fond of the interstate, but not touring anymore anyway. Lots of fun around town. I'm learning how to handle the corners much better with that FAT rear tire.
Not sure about the stock seat. I might have to buy the hammock one, then I can get the backrest at the same time. Of course it isn't available and the season is about over, so might wait over the Winter and see what the reviews are on it from those who live where it is nice.
