Two weeks ago I test rode a 114 Fat Bob. I bought it the next day. Review here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/milwa...l#post16607712

Today my daughter was in her first high school speech and debate competition. My wife was judging. I had time to kill.

I stopped in the local HD shop. They had a 114 Fat Boy (Since 1991 the Fat Boy has been my favorite HD model) sitting on the floor. I purposely kept on walking. I was afraid that if I sat on it I might have second guessed my Fat Bob purchase.

Your bike is awesome. And all remains right in my world.

I have not had a chance to ride the fat bob. I did ride the heritage the same day I got the fatboy. For me the fatboy is it! Ride safe and enjoy the new bike.

Congrats! ...a true work of art right there. Had my money on a Fat Boy in Black Tempest before the Fat Bob stole my heart. A small part of me wishes I had stuck with the Fat Boy because it is sooooo damn awesome looking! Enjoy your new ride, it's sure to bring you smiles for miles =)

While I love the wheel design (and the whole bike for that matter) I'm going to assume they are not clear coated. If not, they are going to be a lot of work to keep polished up.

They don't look like it. I wiped them down yesterday and it was a breeze.

Can you really go wrong with either bike or any bike for that matter! We buy what we like and you have a cool machine I still really want to ride one!
