Default Gas tank leak.

Bike is 2017 fat boy s with 110 motor and has leaked gas since new when filled up to even just below the filler neck hole. Hd worked on it by tweaking the computer but didn't help. I think tank needs to be replaced cause vent tube is too low in tank. Any ideas on how to fix leak?

Just curious about something. Is the gas leaking from around the gas cap area or leaking out in a different area?

Wow. Has technology come so far that they can now fix a leaky gas tank with a computer setting??? And to think, in my day we had to weld it, seal it or replace the tank.

OP; Keep pushing dealer/Service Manager for a resolution....don't fill tank to 100% until resolved.

99% chance its your top plate gasket or the sealant around a "sealing" screw or two. These cannot be reused, for example, if removed.

Iddy biddy problem. Your Dealer will fix.
