Default Suggestions For Illnois Toll Pass

Hello All,
Ok I am new to this and forgive my simple sounding question but there has to be a better way then going through the cash line stopping, pulling my toll pass off my windscreen holding it up and then continuing on. Considering the lady at the toll both was about as informative as football bat. So I turn here to suggestion to what some of you have done and had success with my ride is a 2012 heritage classic I placed the pass on the windscreen on the right corner just below the metal cross brace. this pic does not have the pass in it but I figured it would at least show you the location I was talking about.

I've tried place my EZ Pass in every possible location and finally gave up. Here in PA they (PENNDOT) will send you a violation letter with a pic of your license plate on it and if you have a valid EZ Pass account no worries. I just go online and complete a simple form.

So I am from IL as well and agree with previous post. I registered my lic late on IPass account and I fly through the toll showing nothing, I do not even carry this plastic box just driving by smiling. Never get fine as I believe each time they record me passing by they run check and see my plate registered with account and charge the account (I believe). So far I do it for 2-3 years and unless they plan to give me 100 fines for each pass now I am flying by without any issues. Based on my 3 years of being bad example I dont think you have anything to worry about. I promise to give you heads up if I get any fines

BTW where are you in IL? i am in Schaumburg

I took my I-pass out of my work truck, put it in my father-in-laws minivan and drove to New York and back. Used the I-pass lane the whole way. Haven't heard a thing. that was back in june. I don't think it matters to them as long as they get their pound of flesh. Heartless ******, screw em if ya can.

The website says you're supposed to have the transponder on your bike, but when I called them years ago, they told me not to use a transponder on your motorcycle.

They said they would bill me by my license plate. I haven't had my bike down to Chicago in several years, so I don't know if that still works.

Thank you all for your informative replies, Yesterday was my first time taking my bike on tolls out here on my way up to Racine Wi and was just so frustrated with the toll workers when I asked them such a simple question. I guess in this day and age I really try keep an open mind with people their just too much stereo type going on now days. Anyway My little rant is done thank you all again the responses where great.

Ive heard things are going to change soon with I-Pass. Every vehicle will soon be required to have on at all times. I believe it was referred to up above, which sucks because the dam toll transponder works when it wants too.......

The physical aspect of jetting on a HD is easy. Mainly because the carb is easily accessed and there is only one carb, thus no syncing. Dialing in to find the right jetting can be cumbersome, but usually you can get close by reading what jets others have used for your config.
