Default Molex pins off wiring harness

Can i just pick up those Molex pins anywhere, or are they only at the Harley dealership? I broke one off while replacing my handlebars...id rather not go there its a far drive and they will probably charge $50 for something thats normally 50 cents.

I had a bad experience taking my turn signal connectors apart to pull the wires through the bars to relocate them to the forks. If I ever do it again to another bike I'll just cut the wires an splice them back....hope it goes better for you.

Molex connectors are easy if you have the correct tools. You'll need the proper size pin or socket, crimpers and extraction tool. You can get by without the extraction tool but it certainly decreases your frustration and speeds up your work if you have it.

The biggest challenge so far is these connectors, for some reason two of those pins would not come out and one broke off. I spent one frustrating as hell hour trying to get just one of those connectors apart. Now I have to buy a crimper and a pin. I just fed the first wire through the bars, put the bars on bike and I’m about 2” short. I knew it was going to be close...gotta extend the harness now. Good thing it’s winter or I’d be pissed! This is taking me longer than I thought. Oh well, at least I’m not forking over $1000 to the dealership. I have two independent shops by me who both turned down the job. Said they won’t run wires through the bars.

I also was frustrated when I changed bars. Just handed the Molex part of it over to the Ol'Lady. Problem solved.
