A few things have been rubbing people the wrong way about the 2018 Softails.

You know what really pisses me off about these new bikes...I don't have one.

i thought the big complaint about the new bikes was the much smoother m107 & m114 not feeling like a real Harley.

Based on my test ride...the new and much improved handling, light weight and braking system were impressive.

Love the new platform. Do NOT love the 'new' Heritage. If they'd put all that new stuff in a chrome oriented package, I'd be drooling all the way to the dealer...... We'll see if they come out with a chrome choice next year.......

Don't like having to wait until May to ride mine...winter in Alaska. They are simpler and maybe made cheaper...time will tell.

Are you kidding me? I think there's plenty of threads covering this already.

This sentence does not say what the author thinks it does...

"A mono-shock rear suspension unit will be used in favor of twin rear shocks on the Softails, which doesn't offer the same advantages in terms of performance."

I know some one is working hard to contribute so I'm sorry if I'm posting out of turn here. It just seems like there's already been a lot arguing/debating and this just stirs the pot.

No kidding, f'ing yawn. If you like them by one if you don't don't simple as that. What does get me though are the 2018 fanboys. Every single year it's the same thing. I'm special because I got a new bike. So what. And I can't remember the last f'ing time I gave two shatzs about how many miles per gallon my bike gets.
