Default 2018 heritage--Rhinehart slip ons

I have a set of the rhinehart slip ons {part # 500-1210C } coming next week. These are 3.5 " and come with no heat shields and no cats. Has anyone used these with out heat shields ? Not much clearance under the bag but should run cooler with no cat. I asked Rhinehart about this and they said I could use my stock heat shields but would have to trim them as they would be to long to witch would mess up the chrome. Don't really want to use the shields anyway. Buy the way, these were on ebay from American classic motors.net asking price 499.00 I offered 475.00 and they took it. And free shipping if this helps anyone. Thanks

Default Less is More :)

I have heard of a few new Heritages running S&S slip-ons similar to the Rhinehats with no heatshields. The quality of chrome on the s&s with no heatshield made it a no brainer. Hope this helps. Enjoy 😉

Don't the Rhineharts void your warranty? I thought you could only put HD parts on the new bikes?!

Default Absolutely

Thats why were hypothetically, in the spirit conjecture and hypothosis, considering the non plausible trajectory, of a conversation that isn't inherently plagued by another mention of warranty.

We will now return to your regularly scheduled program.

Hope you get them next week.

I've had a set on order for almost a month now. Originally was told December 15, now Rhinehart has pushed that back to January 15. Fingers crossed.

I canceled my order for rineharts due to the extended wait, ordering big radius pipes when they are available in feburary, went on eBay to order those.... guess you beat me by like 30 minutes! Lol. I had to finish up a job at work, went back to it and they were gone!

Rhinehart must be shipping to vendors. These were in stock and shipped.

I installed Tab performance Slip-ons with Zombie baffles and the factory heat shields. They sound great. I got them fast and the install was easy. They are very well made.
