Here is a link to an AU manufacturer offering a similar under fender plate holder that is half the price...

http://bikecraft.net.au/bikecraft-fe...at-bob-2018-up

I like that this style of plate holder will essentially extend the fender and help reduce the vertical rear wheel spray. (That stupid factory tow-bar holder on my Fat Bob has got to go)

I'm definitely in the market for this style of plate holder, but will wait to see what other manufacturers have to offer.

That said, I picked up a sweet under fender brake light/plate holder for my Breakout from a Japanese manufacturer for approx 250US shipped...

Unfortunately they do not have anything for the FatBob yet.

Nice find. I guess these are all "fender eliminators" meaning they're incorporating brake lights, tail lights, license plate light and turn signals. Don't need all that, just need a plate holder (and some way to make sure it's lighted up).

I found what I think to be the brand of the one in the OP's picture: "Sik Tail". Can't find anything out about them, can't find a webpage or facebook page, maybe someone else has better googling skills and can find 'em?

The one I posted does not look like it includes break, tail, and turn lights. It looks like it is just an under fender mounted plate holder, though it may have plate illumination as well.

"fender eliminator" is a poor description on their part, as I believe they mean that it eliminates the horrible trailer hitch style plate holder/fender mounted behind the rear wheel. Not sure why they didn't take it off for the photo?

Anyway, I am in search of the same thing as the OP, and will post whatever I find here.

Cheers!

Is that a new stock plate holder or aftermarket? I'm not sure about the aesthetics, but it is MILES better than the trailer hitch style that is currently on my bike.

I think that it's the european stock plate holder relocated in another position. I don't know if there is bracket. I submitted the question to the video author, i'm waiting for a reply.

They have them made by a local supplier, so it's not likely we're going to find anywhere else (unless someone like DK Customs works one up for us?)

Man, if that was $100, I'd ****** it up. $650, no.
My mistake. I also was quoted $675 AUD. Got my price and conversion mixed up.

I work today, so I'm gonna eyeball some brackets from other models.

Whatever that thing is that is bolted onto the rear axle and wrapped around the back of the tire is ugly as sin. No two ways about it.

Definitely need to wear a full face helmet so nobody sees your face if you got to ride around with that thing.
