Toner123, I wrapped some stick on rubber weather-stripping around a 3/8" coach bolt and twisted that into the hole.

Thanks for this as I've also been searching for a forward control solution for the new Street Bob.

Just one question - looks like the rear master cylinder moves forward a couple of inches as part of the conversion - did you have to change the brake line to compensate?

Miberhouse. The bracket that the rear brake cylinder attaches to is different. However the cylinder remains in the same position so no change to the brake line.

The "further forward controls" do have brackets that move the cylinder forward some and include a longer rear brake line.

I'm happy where the controls are 5'-11" and wouldn't want to extend them any.

All the parts were sourced from my local Harley Dealer. The parts list and part numbers is on the 1st page. All are genuine HD parts.

I spent some time at the dealer looking at the fat bob forward controls. Seeing you have some mechanical experience it wont take much for you to see how the parts go together. The only thing that doesn't move is the brake cylinder. The frames are similar and have all the holes already for the mounts. If you pull up the parts diagrams you will see where things go. Your dealer should be able to help.

The parts are off the 2018 fat bob. Except the shift linkage and rod (black) are off a 2017 CVO something, your parts guy should be able to look up the numbers. Or you could go with the ones of the fat bob, nasty chrome.
