For those asking about the 15" and 19" windshields, I have both, and just posted a comparison on another thread, you may find it interesting (or not; my comparison was on a Fat Bob).

For buffeting, they both do it, more than I'd like. I think the key is going to be the fork-mounted wind deflectors. JES Customs makes a set for the Fat Boy, Heritage, and Slim; I'm having them work up a custom set for the Fat Bob and will report back on how effective they are.

The powder coaters that I talked to didn't recommend powder coating the heat shields. Said they would turn gray after a while due to the heat. Thats why I went with Harley's black satin heat shields. They are ceramic coated. Apparently, ceramic coating does not come in gloss black either.

My dealer sends the shields to a specialized company in Germany (I'm in the Netherlands...). On the slim they looked as day one after 2,5 years so I'm not worried.

BTW, the sundowner buddy and 19" windshield will be replaced by the small sissy and 15" smoke windshield. Looking good!

The sun is shining, the birds are singing and there's 2 million kilo of slat on the roads. But we can look at our bikes!
Good day y'all!

@black SP: Bike looks great.

As I could see you have the SE mufflers on board. Whats about the sound? Is it better - not necessarily louder - than with the stock mufflers?

Yep, the SE street cannons I think they're called. Sound is really nice, louder than stock and super deep. Very nice but could have been a tat louder to my taste. I guess some miles may do that over time...
