Forget "torque." Torque is created by gearing. The torque in the dyno graph is a calculated value at the crank, not at the rear wheel like the power. Just overlay the power curves. They tell you everything there is to know. The crank "torque" is just the rear wheel power power multiplied by a constant and divided by rpm.
The engine that puts down more power over its entire rev range is the most efficient at converting gas to go. If you need more torque at the rear wheel to pull a big mama up a hill, downshift. If you need to pass, turn the throttle until you're by or run outta revs.
I've yet to see an HD "torque" cam that gave better results than an HD "power" cam.
