Bad @ss!!
Hmm, even thought I might go with drag bars, these exact apes do look good on the new Fatty. Adds to the already muscular character of the bike.
Thoughts? Is this someone's ride here in the forum? Got this from instagram.

I would rather start it in neutral, but if there is no harm starting it with the clutch in while in gear, then that is good to know.
It doesn't really hurt anything. There is a little more drag due to clutch discs having to slip with it being in gear which loads the starter a little more. It's generally easier to find neutral with the engine off so during those times where it's hard to find neutral while running, I'll shut the engine down, find neutral, flip the sidestand down and I'm on my way.

Hello fellow Fatboy owners!
I just purchased my 18 Fatboy Anniversary model last Monday and have been riding the hell out of it!! I haven't done any mods yet, but I think I'll be replacing the seat with a Tallboy seat. I'm already scoping out V&H pipes and FP3 for the bike and possibly some Avon grips. I'm looking forward to seeing and reading what others are doing to their Fatboys!

Just closed the deal, after hours, and getting ready to ride up to Phoenix from Tucson, where I bought the bike.

Looks Sharp. I hate the stock bars kill my back. Putting 12 inch apes on next week. Will vastly improve my posture.

Please post some pics of your bike when you get the apes on it!! I've been thinking about doing the same thing. Thanks
