Default Looking for advice on pricing my bike...

I'm not sure what I should price my bike for to actually sell it and not have it sit around for months. I thought some of you would be more in touch with what the current market is.

Here are the major mods, lot's of other billet / chrome stuff....

2005 Heritage Classic ~20,500 miles

Custom paint.

S&S 100" kit (less than 2000 miles)

Ported heads.

HPI throttle body.

D&D Exhaust.

Shotgun Shock air ride.

RideWright Fat Spoke 21" (F) and 16" (R) spoke wheels.

Chrome forks.

Burly 18" Gorilla Apes with braided stainless cables.

Barnett Billet Scorpion clutch.

PM Machine front / rear brakes and rotors.

PM Machine floorboards and levers.

Dynojet Power Commander V

Thanks for your help.

That's tough. Usually you should check several websites. Like NADA, KBB, and Cycle trader can give you numbers high and low. Then you have to realize its customized with a bunch of aftermarket parts. For the most part, most people don't get anywhere near the return on what they paid for their upgrades. Maybe figure what you paid for the parts, (not labor) and cut that in half? Plus you have to take into consideration what area you live in and neighboring areas. Do most of the guys that ride in your area prefer baggers? Customs? Metric cruisers? Sport bikes? That's also a factor. Then on top of all that, from the picture of your bike, IMHO, your looking at a smaller market of buyers that would be interested in your bike. That could be a good or bad thing.

That's kind of what I was trying to do, but if I add everything up it would be too expensive to sell......

I'm in SoCal so the "cholo" look is definitely a strong selling point here.

Thanks for your info.

It was just my 2 cents man but you asked. I used to live in SoCal so yes I agree, I think you have the best chance of selling it there. Nice scooter man! So why you trying to sell after putting so much in it?

No problem man. I decided I wanted a bagger. Many reasons but the two big ones were long trips and the OL wasn't digging the custom. I decided to keep the custom. The bagger is cool but I love my custom.

Yes, suction cup seat for the OL isn't very appealing to her...

WOW! I forgot about those. I didn't even realize they still made them. LOL! How about a different seat only for when she's with you?

If I end up keeping it, I'll figure something out. She's been a trooper though.

Sounds like a keeper...the bike and the OL LOL! Yeah before this bagger fell in my lap I made mine convertible. Removable bags, sissy bar, 2 up seat, and then the tour-pak
