Your patience will be rewarded. Hang in there. I saw an 07 Heritage with 2,600 miles locally so I know there is one out there waiting for you. Not sure your local dealership has such a board but check and see if the have a for sale by owner board.

If this is the 2004 you are looking at:

https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/m...566897125.html

Pretty sure it is for sale by a car dealer. Look at the cars in the picture. You can do way better than that. Try not to put too much importance on the 4K miles. I saw several in your area with under 20K miles that are truly for sale by owner and way better starting price.
A well maintained 20K miles bike may well be better mechanically than one not riden much. They are made to run not sit.

Don't know if you might think about buying out-of-state and shipping there, but check these out in Phoenix area:

Oh and yes, that is the bike listing from Seattle. Yes, it is on a small car lot and the owner of the lot has the listing. Like I said, I don't really trust that guy. I have to move on.

Just keep checking craigslist, patience pays off. I just brought home a 2010 heritage classic with 5k miles on it for $8700 here in the detroit area. Initially i wanted a fat boy, but i started looking at heritages as well after i couldn't find many 08 or newer fatboys from private sellers (unless i wanted a fatboy lo, tons of those were for sale).

I know the feeling when you want to buy a bike. Patience really is a virtue....got my 2k Heritage with 347 miles on it for 8k in 2014. NO problems at all since. Hang in there it will come to you.
