Softail triple trees fit on an FLH frame?
 
I wanted to see if anyone knows if I can put a softail or other triples on an FLH frame?
I want to make a stripped down touring but with a standard front end so I can use a regular headlight and just a speedometer on top of the triple like a softail etc.

What year (style) FLH frame? Pre-84 4sp style . . . maybe w/mods.
79-Newer FLHT (rubber mnt 5sp) absolutely not

mine is a 2000 FLH frame. Just wanted to see if any other triples would work so I could use a standard configuration fork and light.

have you checked aftermarket ? Drag Specialties , J&P etc .
