sprung seat
 

Relatively new to 2018 Fat Boy and so far seat is best stock seat I've had (comparing to 14 low rider and sporties before that).
But, it could be better to am on a quest for better. I prefer a rider backrest - to me kind of like a wind shield - wonder why have one until tried it - then wondered how I did without.

Something about a sprung seat is interesting to me. Have never been able to try one so would like to hear about them from fellow riders that have used/tried both frame-attached and sprung.

Did you try/go back?/try and love/kept sprung? Why? What is good about them? What is bad? Bouncy? Hold you in place? Work with rider backrest? Do they typically raise (or otherwise change) seating position?

Any observations/hints about them from anyone that has done both is greatly appreciated. Also open to suggestions regarding suppliers/kits/etc. that would work for the new wide-tire softails.
