Default 16 Slim Evap Removal

Been flirting with the idea of removing the evap canister on my 16 slim. I've seen a few of the dyna forums talking about it. I'm trying to check a few boxes before i do cams and a full blown dyno tune. I imagine not having fuel vapor dumped randomly into the throttle body will make the tuning a little more consistent. As far as I can tell from diagrams I simply need a vacuum cap at the throttle body and then either the non California vent line. Then simply remove the canister, lines and purge valve. Here's a couple diagrams I've found:

part #2 here:
http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....CTION%20MODULE
Then parts 30 & 31 here:
http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....ANK%20ASSEMBLY
then remove all of this:

Let me know what you guys think.

The purge solenoid needs to stay or it will throw a code. I removed just the canister for my road king and routed the fuel vent to the solenoid. Cap the solenoid and remove everything else except the fuel vent line in this diagram here.

The evap system doesn’t hurt power or really effect anything. I personally would leave it cause my bike doesn’t have it and I have to leave the garage open after filling up and riding due to smelling fuel. Also if I fill my tank too full in the summer a small amount of gas will drip out of the vent tube. Not a huge deal but something to consider.

I’ve seen others say the purge valve doesn’t throw a light on canbus bikes. Guess I could always try and see. So I’m basically going to pull everything downstream of the purge valve and cap the port on the throttle body. Also to the smell I don’t mind the smell. Bike sort of smells like gas as it is from pulling it in while it’s still running.
