2018 Heritage Classic with Hollywood bars?

Anyone done this?

I’m about to order a new Heritage Classic, but I don’t like the tall boy bars.

I loved the Hollywoods on my 2016 Slim - I assume the geometry of the 2 bikes is the same, but for the HC having a taller seat position?

Pics?

The ‘18 Slim sits me way back compared to my ‘18 Heritage. Also further back than ‘16 Slim I sat on. I think the Hollywood bars on an ‘18 Heritage would work ok...they are a stretch on the ‘18 Slim though for me. I’m 5’6.

Yeah they should work I think - I certainly shouldn't be any further 'back' than on my '16 Slim, right?

So this is not entirely 100% accurate, but overlaying a picture of a 2018 Slim on a 2018 HC (matching the headstock point as best I could), it would seem the Hollywood bars look great (I think!) and the reach to the bars looks fine - certainly no 'further' than the reach on the stock Slim, which I was fine with.

Those bars look great on his Heritage. A friend of mine put new Softail Slim bars on his new Heritage, have not seen them yet but he really likes them.

Yeah, they sort of 'lower' the profile, which I really like.

If you/your mate get a chance to post pics... :)

I'll be glad to, we plan to switch off when we get together. He lives about 250 miles away. Can't wait to try his out.

In the meantime, here's another quick and dirty Photoshop 'before and after'... such a small thing, but to me it really changes the look of the bike - lovin' it...

How does it change his seating/back position? Does he find he's stretching more to reach or just a 'lower' hold?
