OTD for 2018 Heritage?
Always wanted a HD, but never had the means to. Decided that I am finally in a position to purchase a new 2018 Heritage (probably a 107). Never bought a new bike (barely ridden one) and am trying to figure out a good OTD price for a new Heritage. Any insights into price, negotiation tips, or other things I should know about purchasing a bike like this would be greatly appreciated. Already signed up for HD class on learning to ride so I've got that covered. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I'll tell you -- with the crazy markup Harley has on bikes, I very much doubt I'll buy one from them again. Bought my first one there, then tried to buy the wife's there. Both times the bank wouldn't underwrite the loan (and I have excellent credit). They just kept telling me the price is too high. (I put an extra $2000 cash down on mine just to get the bank to clear the loan!)
Bought the wife's used (1500 miles) as a trade-in at an Indian shop, go figure. In Dallas, we have "Dream Machines" which sells a lot of (used) bikes. But to be honest, I can't see buying new on a bike. Low mileage, definitely. But new? Nah.
If you're heart's stuck on new, I definitely understand, though. HD gets enough of my money on shirts! Ha ha.

I bought my 2018 Slim on 9/29/18 and got it for $1500 off MSRP, no freight or setup fees and free 1k service
