Sport Glide Street Cannon requires 3 parts?!?

you have to buy the muffler $425 plus a tip $55 to $85 plus a heat shield $65... euh. Let me be the first to say NO Thanks. Over $550 for a slipon .

Yeah, seems a little excessive. I guess HD figures people will pony up to keep their warranty intact? Maybe look at Tab Performance.
Not to hijack, but can I ask, do you get a lot of "dirty" air coming up from under the tank? In other words, do you feel like you need fangs on the forks or some other air management solution? Looking at the SG right now but haven't had a chance to test ride. Thanks.

I get zero dirty air, I know exactly what you describe I’ve had 2 street glides and on one I did put fangs so my glasses would quit vibrating. Nothing on the sport glide. Head is in clean air from shoulders up and nothing coming up from underneath.

While it is a bit pricey, I plan on doing just that as I have a few bucks to blow I guess.. A Stage I with the round high flow breather with the perimeter holes to reuse the stock 107 round breather cover. I'll get the street cannon slip on in chrome with the heat shield, and the street tuner. Only thing I may need is a tutorial on how to install the tune from the street tuner into the bike. I'm hoping its as simple as downloading the map from a Harley app and unloading the stock map and installing the updated one from the tuner to the bike. Only done something like this once before with a canned tune but it was on my Camaro.Otherwise I'll do the breather and slip on myself and let the service tech install the tune. My goals are simply to gain a bit more exhaust grunt and install a reusable higher flow filter. Seems I heard a few mention that it picks up the warm idle rpm up a bit where it is less erratic. That would be a plus but not my primary goal.

That is what Harley does with everything. If you want a slip on go with Tab.

@ RobertJO, the street tuner requires a laptop and a download of software. You then connect the tuner to laptop and choose the correct components and it will give you a base map. Now there is an option to record with the tuner on and I believe you can record sessions up to 15 minutes, come back to the fuel maps and make recommended "autotune" adjustments and even some adjustments manually to the areas of the map that are a little off. I had an Iron i put all harley components on for a stage 1 and the base map worked well. I did perform a few autotune sessions and only saw very minor enhancements. It's really not that difficult after you have the software.
