Ahh ok, well maybe I'll add another to the stable if the price is right. Thanks for the input fellas, seat shopping isn't an easy business!

I'm not Moose, but I do own an Explorer. I had to fabricate a "block", which you can see in my sig pic, to hold a backrest in place. Do you offer a service to retrofit a rider's backrest to an existing seat?

Working with Alex at Saddlemen. Got an RA number and shipped my Explorer back to Saddlemen today. Going to have one made with the removable backrest.

Thanks for the tip!

I just fitted an Explorer LS to my Fatboy. I got the blue stitching, as the original Anniversary seat also has blue stitching.

Saddlemen seat and forward control pegs.

I love my seat BUT - I called your custom shop guys 3x to have a seat made. You called me back 6 months later to tell me its another 3 months. The stock seat I love, please be sure to provide proper lead times and set expectations. Thanks.

I received the new Saddlemen Explorer with backrest today from Saddlemen. It fits and looks great. I won't be riding again until April, but I appreciate how easy Saddlemen and Alex made this whole experience. Thanks guys!

I have a Saddlemen Explorer on my 13 Deluxe for when my wife rides with me, comfortable as ****, this coming from a veteran with back issues. I can ride for hours without feeling the need to constantly reposition myself while riding. Wife loves the seat, super comfortable for her. It drops the seat height, I feel provides better driver back support and the seat is more narrow than stock so it keeps your legs tight to the bike.
