A bit of "apples and oranges" but I measured 47 mpg on my 2018 FLHCS about a month ago. Don't ride hard; still breaking it in.

Too many variables between bikes and riding styles.

The one in my sig pic below will do 42-ish if I ride it like a sane person.

Mid-40s if I'm easy on the throttle. But why ruin the fun?

2008 with stage one....mid. 40's
I do not ride on freeways - - mostly back roads - - probably average between 50 and 60 mph.

Hope this helps.

I have been keeping track of my gas mileage since 12/24/15 with an app called mileage keeper. Life time on my 2010 ultra is 33.5 MPG. My best tank of gas was 37.9 MPG in Oct of 2017. Worst was 24.3 MPG in Mar of 2016. I usually go approx. 174 miles between fill ups. Greatest distance traveled before filling up 211 miles. Most gas ever required for fill up 6.143 gal on 11/13/2018.

42 mile one way commute to work between 70 and 80 MPH. only about 4 or 5 miles through town driving.

Going from a 96 cu in to a 103 has reduced my MPG by about 2 MPG.

2010 FLHTCU. Started out stock. Added Thundermax tuner. 2009 head pipe for wide band o2 sensors, no cat. SE air cleaner. SE 204 cams. Full sac 1.75 baffles. Now 103 cu in, everything else stayed the same.

Bike currently has 78,277 miles.
