Default Help sg front wheel on slim

My friend has a beautiful 21" 3.5 no abs single disc sinister front rim from his 2011 street glide that I can get next to nothing. Anyone know if it will work on my 2013 softail slim. I am looking to go 21" and would only have to pay to ship it. Hoping someone can help. thanks

Haven't done it but I've done research on it because I want to go 21" and fenderless.
So what I've found is as long as it has the correct bearings for your axle diameter all you need is the correct width spacers.
If the bearings are no go, just replace with the correct ones.
Being that his is a '11 and yours is a '13 and they both use a 25mm front axle I'd say you're good to go.

Think you'll have contact, but it wouldn't hurt to try since the rotor is only .15" closer to the caliper housing...

You can find the HD-Brembo calipers from the Touring bikes pretty cheap on ebay.

Worse case is you have rotor-caliper contact & just have to run what you got till you have cash to get
a cheap HD-Brembo caliper off of Fleabay. OR (just thinking) you put your stock 11.5" rotor on the
new wheel....

good luck,

T.
