Which seat to choose?
So, after a year with the stock seat and doing a lot of looking around, I've narrowed my choices down to 2 seats for my '17 Slim, the Saddleman Step-Up or the C&C Squareback. Anybody have experience with these two seats? Specifically, I'm looking for any opinions as far as comfort for longer rides(several hundred mile days/weekends). I would also welcome input as far as other similarly styled seats that might be a better choice that I may not have been aware of.

Ive owned 3 C&C Fastback seats and put over 60,000 on them between 3 bikes. IMO great seat, very comfortable. I believe the only difference between the Fastback and the Squareback is the passenger portion.
I can easily go 300 + miles a day, ride full tank to empty before a short break to stretch and gas up In the picture below is a C&C fastback on my 05 fatboy purchased in 2006 and still like new |

Thanks for the input! Did you go for with or without the gel?
In my experience with my 3 C&C seats all of them moved me down and back about 1". The riders portion is wide and comfortable, they do take a couple hundred miles to break in. The one on the fatboy (picture below) is about 13 yr old and has close to 24,000 miles on it. Still in great condition |

Then try C&C, they will make it to your specs. The quilter top always looks good
