Extended shift toe/heal pegs

Extended shift toe/heal pegs
Hey guys, just wanted to share this story about me!
20 yrs. ago I had a operation on my left ankle. I have extreme flat foot and I had ruptured the joint, so my ankle had to be fused.
This means I can no longer shift my foot left or right (very limited movement).
The toe/heal pegs on my FatBoy were a bit short, so I had to customize them (longer).
So, I bought some random aluminum pegs from a local shop and started drilling and customizing them.
This is the final end project. Success, now I can easily shift and when the weather gets better here in Toronto, I can finally start enjoying my Harley!

Nice job!
This is just another reason Harleys are so awesome. The average rider can custom suit it to his needs. I had both hips replaced several years ago and had to modify a few things to get comfortable. By extending the floorboards out 1 1/2" and installing the extended heel shift arm along with a Mustang seat with backrest I can ride all day now.
