Shifting from neutral to first

Has anybody noticed that when shifting from neutral to first when standing still, not only do you get the clunk but also the bike very slightly moves forward at the same time. My clutch is adjusted properly and everything seems to be working okay I just was wondering about that slight forward movement when downshifting into first from neutral.

They all do that. There’s always a tad of drag on the clutch.

It might be all in my head, but I just hold the clutch in for a few seconds before selecting first and I think it lessens the affect a little, but it's never really worried me.

It might not be your imagination, but it's still normal..
