Heritage tank lift

I'm considering doing a DK customs tank lift to my 09 heritage. Looking for any input or experience with doing this mod. Pictures are welcome!

Thank you

It doesn't look too tough...

I have these (or something that looks very similar on my Rocker), the only thing is that the offtake is a little higher than before (the bottom the tank is no longer parallel to the ground) which results in a reduced useable tank volume, some day I will calculate/figure out by how much....)

I did this on my old 06 fxst . Its easy as hell to do

According to DK website you lose about 1/8 of a gallon. Nothing substantial.

Well, I tried to test my tank clearance for s tank lift but rear tank mounting bolt is ridiculously torqued and buggered up. I am unable to loosen it.
Guess my rank lift will have to wait until I find a way to solve this issue...

Try heating the head of the bolt with a soldering iron. might have red loctite on it.

I am trying to do this now but can't get the tank to lift up more than an inch. That rear bolt was a bugger but finally gave in.
